2020 G90 rear window shades

My nephew just bought his first car, it's a 2020 Genesis G90 Premium, and he's got a quick question about the rear window shades that's got him stumped.

He just noticed that both the rear driver and passenger side shades stop about an inch from going all the way down into the door.

They just don't fully disappear like he'd expect. He's looked everywhere online and even through the user manual, but he can't find anything about them not fully closing.

Has anyone else with a G90 had this issue? do you know of a fix or if there's something super obvious he's missing? He'd really appreciate any help!

I'm not 100%, but there was a recall for this problem. The previous owner had them replaced, or the mechanism and they go all the way down. He mentioned that it was a common problem and Genesis were aware of it, which is why they had no problem replacing everything the needed to. A trip to the dealer might be good idea and see if there's a solution for you.

@fudge_king there's no fix because it isn't considered a problem, just how the shades are built, tell your nephew his car is not broken lol, ust keeping things classy in its own weird way or so, he'll be fine
