Bleeding the brakes

The brakes on my Genesis G90 have seen some better days and the previous owner told me that, so I plan to replace them myself. I'm not a first class mechanic, but I found a few videos online that explain the process in great detail and it seems like a fun little project for me. One thing I couldn't find is if I'll need to bleed the brakes after replacing? I'm thinking about replacing the pads and the rotors.

Also, don't worry, despite diying this, I'll still make sure the car stops before I take it out for a drive, so safety first.

You likely won't need to bleed the brakes but if the pedal feels soft after, then yes bleed them.
