Weird heat delay on my G90 during school runs normal?

I've been having a bit of an odd issue with the heater in my G90, especially during school runs. I've owned the car for a while, and every morning, I drop my kids off at school. Recently, I've noticed that the heater doesn't really start warming up until I'm actually driving.

Even when I remote start it a good 10 minutes before we leave, by the time we get in, the air is still pretty cool, there's no warm air coming from the floor or defrost vents. The temperature gauge looks normal, but it only starts pushing out heat once we're on the move.

It's quite frustrating on those chilly mornings, especially with the little ones. Has anyone else dealt with this? Just trying to figure out if this is how the system is supposed to work or if I should get it checked out.

Yep, the delay in heat could be tied to the way Genesis thermostats are calibrated to hold back airflow until coolant reaches a certain temp. Quick question, do you see your RPMs drop during remote start or any change in HVAC mode before you shift to drive? Some models won't push full heat until you're out of park.
